With budget cuts affecting marketing resources, an initiative was spearheaded to bring the production of Decorex Africa’s TV ad in-house. Despite no prior experience in video editing, I leveraged Adobe Premiere Pro to create a successful production of a 30-second ad for the event, which promoted both the event and brand awareness across South Africa.
Challenges:
- Budget restrictions left no allocation for external video editing services.
- Limited internal knowledge and experience in video production and editing tools.
Solution & Execution:
- Adobe Premiere Pro was learned and utilized to create a professional 30-second TV ad.
- The project saved the organization R30,000 in agency fees, which was reinvested into digital marketing for the event’s promotion.
Results:
- The ad successfully aired, increasing event awareness.
- The reallocation of saved funds to digital channels enhanced promotional efforts and ensured strong event turnout.
